would say that Cacert's- normal operation is affected. We should investigate to what degree, make the consequences we see public, and then focus on rebuilding the basis for proper operations instead focus on operations by itself (excluding things necessary by statutes and keeping us safe, of course).

But probabely the first problem is not that. Why the existing community members use less than half of the numbers of certificates as before? Has CAcert still a reason to exist? What should/could we do to beome attractive again? (a first idea could be some articles in the internet "good bye CAcert" or "Why I did not renew my CAcert cartificate".)
