How to start CAcert in a new country
Start translating the website
- Get 3 people to be Assurers (through the normal assurance system when visiting assurers from another country, through TTP or through transfer from another CA)
- Have all Assurers listed on the website, so that people can find you
Verify the Location Database of the country (contact support@cacert.org to get access to the location database)
- Search for someone who is juristical educated to do the Organisation Assurance for that country
Register on http://lists.cacert.org/ on the cacert-support mailinglist, and help solving the requests from your country/your language
- Find someone who can do public-relations in that country
- Research the encryption, digital signature, e-government and e-business regulations and laws in your country
- Try to find offices that can do CAcert assurance (Companies, Universities, Ministries, ...), so that people can go there to get their identity verified
