CAcert Inc. Membership Fees
The Yearly Open Question
- Until when I have to pay my membership fee to be allowed to vote in the AGM following a Financial Year ?
- CAcert Inc. Rules
4.33 Voting (5) A member or proxy is not entitled to vote at any general meeting of the association unless all money due and payable by the member or proxy to the association has been paid, other than the amount of the annual subscription payable in respect of the then current year.
- Explanation by Tomas:
This might be a slight misunderstanding: Rule 33 (5) of CAcert Inc. Association Rules clearly states that the membership fee for the current year at the time of AGM doesn't need to be paid. In other words, in order to vote at AGM 2012, only the fee that was due 2012-06-30 (i.e. the one for FY 2011/2012) needs to be paid.
