- CCA termination for non-assurer accounts with certificates is 3-24 months after expiration of last certificate. The account may be deleted after this time.
- non-assurer accounts with no issued certificates may be deleted "immediately" (after confirming the request)
Assurer accounts are handled according to https://wiki.cacert.org/Arbitrations/a20090328.1#Ruling
- Assurer account has 100 Assurance Points and passed test, or is an Assurance necessary?
- How does it come to the interval of 3-24 month? Why that large?
- u60: one ruling says 3 months, i bring into discussion 1 year ... so no concensus was reached
- law: ted: 3 month somehow sounds good. 24 month after everything expired seems to be quite long.
- ted: IMHO 3 months is almost nothing. Might just be enough to finish the arbitration... :-\
- u60: 3 months after ruling / execution
- ted: I agree that 24 months sounds quite much, so I'd probably settle with Uli's 12 months
- law: 3 month after expiration of certs i would say. This is the thing which makes them liable.
- law: And if within the 3 month after last cert expiry no claim against this user/cert is raised, the account could be deleted.
- manual / page on how to delete an account:
iang: are we to take Arbitrations/Training/Lesson20 as better than Support/SE/Manual ? and copy the former info to the latter?
- se manual is for SE's ... arbitration training was compiled later and includes also SE link
- Lesson10 is when/why to do it, SE/Manual is how to do it
- lession 10 for arbitrators ruling descision, SE manual SE execution ... (its Lesson 20 after renumbering 2010-02-05 u60)
iang: ok ... i think lesson10 has more info tho ... will review
- u60: SE manual has the infos for SEs they need, i.e. what does the delete account on the webinterface will do ...
- u60: arbitrations/training lessons are quick compiled single thoughts ... for CMs / Arbitrators training
- u60: background is the triage - SE - CM - A view
